# How to update Place of Service options

## This guide shows how to enable and attach Place of Service (POS) options to specific services so they appear on progress notes and flow through to billing. It walks admins through where to configure POS codes in Program Configuration and how to save them, then how clinicians select the configured POS when adding a progress note. Follow it to ensure correct POS choices are available and transmitted on claims.
